CAPM Training Course Overview

Designed to be missing single course that completely covers the exam scope, this course offers the most extensive coverage of the CAPM exam on the market and is designed to be the ONLY COURSE a candidate needs to pass the exam. Developed by best-selling author A. Togay Koralturk—a globally recognized educator with books taught in top U.S. universities—this game-changing training simplifies even the most challenging topics and helps candidates understand (not just memorize) the essential information for the exam. This approach equips candidates to successfully pass the CAPM exam on the first try and effectively apply this knowledge to real-life projects.

Aligned with the current CAPM Examination Content Outline, this complete training solution includes 400+ video lectures covering agile, predictive, and hybrid approaches, the international best-selling CAPM study guide (600+ pages), 1,500+ realistic practice questions with detailed answer explanations, nearly 1,000 Ultimate Tips for Exam Success, and 500+ online flashcards.

Passing the CAPM exam requires thinking the way PMI® expects. This complete training course is built to train the PMI® mindset and teaches how PMI® expects project professionals to think—so candidates can confidently analyze scenarios and select the best answers on the CAPM exam. The CAPM exam includes predictive, agile, and hybrid project management approaches. There is no chance of passing the exam if you are experienced in only one approach, which is the case for most test-takers. Therefore, this training course teaches all approaches and exam topics in great detail.

As project management practices have undergone dramatic changes in the last decade, PMI introduced a radical transformation in its standards as well as the CAPM exam content, which is no longer solely structured around PMI’s Process Groups model. Therefore, this course is not an update from a previous edition. Instead, it has been created from scratch to reflect this significant transformation, as it would not be feasible to create a guide that properly addresses this crucial shift in project management practices otherwise.

The course features Ultimate Tips for Exam Success sections throughout all chapters, presenting nearly 1,000 exam tips that pinpoint the types of questions you should expect on the exam, key points you need to know, and challenges you may encounter. Upon completion of the course, these sections will also enable you to easily review key points for the exam in no time and ensure first-time success on the actual exam.

"THANK YOU for creating such a powerful CAPM prep course. As a new graduate with zero project management experience, I passed my exam above target relying on this course alone. The course builds everything from the ground up and you truly don’t need any project management background to pass the exam with this training. The concepts are explained in great detail and even the math topics become a piece of cake. The ultimate tips for exam success sections at the end of every module clearly explain what to expect on the exam and what to look out for each topic. These sections were incredibly helpful and gave me a clear understanding of what I would face on the actual exam. This training is worth every minute invested, and I truly appreciate the effort that went into creating such a high-quality course."

"I want to sincerely thank you for creating such an effective CAPM training program. I passed the CAPM exam on my first attempt using only this course and I felt confident from start to finish. The curriculum covers every single concept you can encounter on the test which is extremely important. The way predictive and agile concepts are explained makes them easy to understand, even if you’re new to project management. Even challenging topics like earned value and the critical path method were broken down step by step in a way that was super easy to understand. I also found the practice exams very helpful. They were challenging and came with detailed answer explanations that were extremely helpful. I couldn’t have asked for a better preparation experience."

CAPM Exam Structure & Format

The CAPM exam consists of 150 questions. The allotted time to complete the exam is 180 minutes.

Of the 150 exam questions, 135 are scored and 15 are pretest (unscored) questions. Pretest questions do not impact your final exam score. They are used by PMI to collect performance data and, depending on the data collected, potentially serve as future exam questions. However, it is important to note that test-takers do not know which are scored and which are pretest questions.

The CAPM exam is primarily scenario-based and tests how you apply project management principles in real situations, across predictive, agile, and hybrid contexts.
